About

My name is Marjon and I have been practising yoga since 2014. Like many other people I came to yoga for physical reasons (back pain). Once I established a regular practice, I noticed that I felt more calm, resilient and was living more in the present moment. This made me want to learn more about this practice with ancient Indian roots.  This resulted in doing teacher training courses and now sharing yoga with others.

I strongly believe that yoga is for everyone and aim make to make yoga as accessible as possible.  My intention is that you leave the class feeling better in both body and mind. I have a particular interest in using yoga to help us rest and relax and also offer restorative yoga sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Foundation course, Yoga Scotland

  • Yoga Teacher Training, Classical Yoga School (CYS)

  • Restorative Yoga Teacher Training, British Wheel of Yoga

  • Ayurveda in Action Module, British Wheel of Yoga

  • Yoga Nidra Teaching Course,  British Wheel of Yoga

  • Currently on the Path of Knowledge course with Daniel Simpson, a year long yoga philosophy course

  • Emergency First Aid at Work course

One to One sessions

If you are interested in a practice fully designed for your own individual needs and goals, then one to one sessions are a great option. These sessions can include individualised restorative yoga focussing on deep rest. 

​​

The sessions are held in the log cabin in our garden. A cosy and peaceful space with views out to the hills (Cairn William).  The sessions can also be held in other locations if preferred. 

​
